Out & About With Kids and Family Travel merge to become the largest family travel editorial platform in APAC.   The merger brings together two of the most experienced family travel outlets with a combined reach of over 3,500,000 per year. 

Bound Round Pty Ltd and Elwin Media today announced a merger that will result in the formalisation of the largest family travel editorial platform in APAC. Effective immediately the consumer travel brands Family Travel and Out & About With Kids will operate as a singular brand, Family Travel.

Out & About With Kids magazine will continue to be published quarterly, ultimately under a new masthead Family Travel, with the Out & About With Kids brand continuing as a recurring section within the title. The next issue will be on sale in April 2018.

Online, the merger of the two brands will be a longer transition. Outandaboutwithkids.com.au will continue to operate alongside familytravel.com.au for the remainder of 2018, with content and campaigns to run across both sites and to both audiences.

As a result of this merger, Elisa Elwin has been appointed as the Head of Family Travel Magazine and Partnerships, and Executive Editor at Bound Round. She will be responsible for the delivery of the editorial strategy and direction of the Family Travel brand in collaboration with Natasha Keller, Head of Online, Marketing and Communications, Bound Round who is responsible for the Family Travel digital offerings.
